At Momentum Physical Therapy, 10 Farrell Street in South Burlington.

Explore your breathing habits, increase your breathing efficiency, and move your body. Develop your breathing toolkit and learn techniques to calm down, create focus, and improve your performance. During the 6 weeks, we'll work on breathing biomechanics, biochemistry, and explore how cadence may impact how you feel. Great for beginners and those curious about their breath. Come to one or all six.

UNWIND ANXIETY VIRTUAL SERIES: BREATHE TO RELAX.

Jan. 28 - Mar. 4, 2025 Tuesdays 5:15 - 6:15pm.

Cost is $60. Online via Zoom. Classes will also be recorded & shared to watch on your own if you can’t make the time.

In the first 3 classes, we’ll focus on breathing exercises and movement to let your body know that you’re okay and that you can relax. The final 3 classes, we’ll build upon these calming breathwork practices and practice being comfortable and feeling okay on our edge of discomfort and anxiety through breathing and movement techniques.

Each live class will start with an optional check-in and share. A short digital handout will be available after the last class for future reference.

Breathing, Emotions, & Your Nerves.

Classes are a combination of lecture, breathwork practice, and Q&A. Live Online and Recorded through OLLI. Cost is $50 for members.

Want to dig into the science of breathwork and your body? Want to try some breathing techniques and see how it feels in your body?

Explore your nervous system, emotions, and breath in this 4 week online class. Identify your breathing habits, learn some tools for self-regulation, and engage in some gentle movement. You’ll want to be in a space where you can sit, stand, walk, and lie down for the different breathing exercises.

INTEROCEPTION SERIES: Increase and Practice your body listening skills

Mondays, 7:30-8:30pm.
March 24, 31, April 7, 14
4-week virtual series. $45.

Increase your internal awareness and practice checking in, focus internally, not externally.  Each class will be an exploration of your internal awareness through your breath, your heartbeat, and your sense of pressure, temperature, gravity, or tension in your body.   Through increasing your awareness of your breath, you can increase your self-regulation skills helping you show up in life more as you’d like.
